Brann won the base game in the Toppserien – Stabæk, the last team to qualify for the play-offs

Signe Holt Andersen sent LSK ahead with a goalscorer ten minutes into the second half, before Guro Bergsvand fouled the goalscorer inside the penalty area a few minutes later. Emilie Woldvik was sure of it.

But Brann didn’t give up there. Captain Tuva Hansen cut the deficit first before Marit Bratberg Lund equalized from the penalty spot just over ten minutes before the end. The penalty was caused by LSK goalkeeper Thiril Erichsen, who tackled Svava Rós Gudmundsdóttir in the penalty area.

Bjånesøy became the hero of Stabæk

In extra time, Maria Brochmann looked like the winner of the match for Brann, but in the dying seconds, Irene Dirdal equalized.

With a win and a loss of points for Stabæk, LSK could qualify for the play-offs, but the latter battled to a late victory over Arna-Bjørnar at home. Melissa Bjånesøy became Stabæk’s heroine after 86 minutes.

Sigrid Aas scored for Arna-Bjørnar, while Maiken Bjørndalen equalized for the carries. Bjånesøy then secured victory and a place in the play-offs.

Turned around quickly

Kolbotn held the last play-off spot for a long time with 3-1 against Vålerenga, but Bjånesøy spoiled the party.

Ylinn Tennebø sent VIF into the lead, but scores from Sarah Dyrehauge, Jenny Norem and Martine Fenger secured victory for Kolbotn. He didn’t resist a winner’s playoffs.

VIF, on the other hand, fought for second place in the regular season, but the loss forced them to settle for two points in the play-offs.

Rosenborg number two

Despite the victory over VIF, Kolbotn enters the play-offs with zero points. Vålerenga’s loss means they find themselves in third place after Rosenborg lost 1-2 to Lyn. Emilie Nautnes sent RBK ahead before Anna Aahjem and Martine Fenger secured the victory for the Lightning. Rosenborg gets four points for the play-offs, while VIF gets two.

Lyn, LSK Kvinner, Arna-Bjørnar, Avaldsnes and Røa must also go to the relegation play-offs. The latter two played 1-1 on Sunday.

From the 1st division come TIL 2020 and Åsane, who each won on Sunday. TIL 2020 crushed Medkila 6-0, while Åsane won 4-0 over AaFK Fortuna.
