Leaders of G7 countries, including US President Joe Biden, condemn Monday’s rocket attack on a shopping center in the Ukrainian city of Kremenchuk.

On Monday, a shopping mall in Kremenchuk, Ukraine was hit by a rocket attack. According to Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy, there were more than 1,000 people in the mall during the attack.

– Only completely reckless terrorists, who have no business here on earth, can direct rockets at such a target, says Zelenskyj.

On Tuesday morning, Ukrainian authorities reported that the death toll had risen to 18. More than 40 are missing.

Several leaders denounce

These days, a meeting is taking place between the G7 countries, France, Japan, Germany, United Kingdom, United States, Italy and Canada. Key EU leaders are also present.

Country leaders condemn Monday’s rocket attack. They call it a heinous attack and a war crime.

The UN Security Council will meet on Tuesday evening, at the request of Ukraine following Russian attacks on civilian targets in recent days.

Monday’s rocket attack will be the main topic. Also, Sunday’s rocket attack on the capital Kyiv, where a residential area was hit, will be discussed, according to the Albanian presidency, which is leading the meeting.
