They will be torn in the group stage usually four matches, starting at 11:00 a.m., 2:00 p.m., 5:00 p.m. and 8:00 p.m. In the last round, there will be two parallel duels played at 4:00 p.m. and 8:00 p.m. The quarter-finals and quarter-finals will also be played at these times. The first whistle for the World Cup semi-finals will sound at 8:00 p.m., and the match for 3rd place and the final are scheduled for 4:00 p.m.
Our national team will certainly play three matches in Qatar: Tuesday, November 22, at 5 p.m. with Mexico, Saturday, November 26, at 2 p.m. with Saudi Arabia and Wednesday, November 30, at 8 p.m., with Argentina.
World Cup 2022 – match commentators
TVP sent a delegation of more than 40 people to Qatar. When the Polish national team is eliminated from the World Cup, most of them will return to the country. Qatar matches will be commented on by:

The studios broadcast before, after and during match breaks will be led by: Maciej Kurzajewski, Rafał Patyra, Marcin Rams, Mariusz Jankowski, Kacper Tomczyk. In addition, the studies of Qatar during the matches of the Polish national team will be carried out by: Jacek Kurowski (Poland – Mexico and Poland – Saudi Arabia) and Mateusz Borek (Poland – Argentina).
On TVP Sport, the studio will start one hour before the start of the first match of the day. Earlier, usually shortly after “Studio mundial” will be broadcast at 8 a.m., and at 9 “Coupe du monde pour oui”.
However, at 11:00 p.m. you can watch “World Cup Night” with a summary of the matches played the day that passes. The station has also planned other championship series, including “Mundial nay nay” and “Mundial lajt”. They will be moderated by the main journalists of TVP Sport. Among the World Cup experts at Telewizja Polska will be former or current players and coaches, including, among others, former Polish national team coach Jerzy Brzęczek.
Two studios will be used to produce the programmes: one belonging to TVP Sport and the other already used during the Olympic Games. Both will be equipped with separate systems for tactical analysis.
Matches on five TVP channels, websites and apps
All FIFA World Cup matches will be broadcast on TVP1, TVP2 and TVP Sport. In the case of matches played at the same time – one will be in Jedynka, the other – in Two, and you can watch a combined broadcast on TVP Sport. In addition, each match will be available on the tvpsport.pl website, in the TVP Sport mobile application and in the Smart TV application.
Two versions of each broadcast will be available online: a standard version and a camera reflecting the view of fans in the stadiums.In addition, TVP will offer four versions of the commentary: in Polish, in English, without commentary and with Polish audio description (for the visually impaired). There will also be an option to choose subtitles for the hearing impaired.
The TVP 4K channel will be launched in Qatar for the duration of the tournament, which will be entirely dedicated to the World Cup and will broadcast all matches. It will be available on digital terrestrial television on MUX-6 and pay-TV operators such as: Canal+ Platform, Vectra Group (Vectra, Multimedia Polska, SGT, Evio, Elsat), Orange, Toya, Inea, T-Mobile, Avios , Promax , JMDI, Telpol, Chopin Cable TV. The channel will not be offered for online streaming.
World Cup on foreign TV channels
The World Cup will also be watched on foreign channels, available without coding from satellite. We are talking about:
– German public channels ZDF HD and Das Erste HD available from Astra (19.2°E),
– French channel TF1 HD broadcast from Astra (19.2°E),
– British BBC One HD, ITV HD and UTV HD or Scottish STV HD available from Astra (28.2°E), but in a bundle dedicated to the British Isles,
– Turkish TRT 1 HD and TRT 4K available on Türksat satellites at 42°E, but TRT 4K can be encoded
While near the border with the Czech Republic, World Cup matches will be broadcast on Czech terrestrial channels ČT sport HD, TV Nova and Nova Action.
