He is to Soviet and Russian ice hockey what Lev Yashin was to football. Vladislav Tretjak (71) has been head of the Russian Hockey Federation for 17 years. Such sanctions against members of the Duma, including Tretyak, have been imposed, among others, by the European Union (the day before Russia’s invasion of Ukraine), the United States, Australia, Japan, Switzerland and Great Britain. Now Canada has joined them.
