On Tuesday night, Norway took their first victory in the EC qualifier against Cyprus. In the end, the result was 3-1 and Erling Braut Haaland scored two of the goals.
The highest profile of the Norway national team turned their noses up at one of Oslo’s many kebab shops after the game, in particular the Tåsen cafe-bar.
He brought teammates Martin Ødegaard, Sander Berge and Stefan Strandberg long after closing time to eat the “Jumbo mix” dish, complete with chicken and kebab.
TB mentioned the topic first.
New detail of the visit
– It was absolutely believed to be visited by the four stars. The fact that Haaland and his company came to us and ate a kebab after the match is great. And it was amazing how down-to-earth they were, says Jaskiret Singh Bal at Tåsen cafe bar in Dagbladet.
– It can’t get any bigger than that for us. In fact, we close at 9 p.m., but when I was asked to stay open after the game for them, the answer was of course yes, continues Jaskiret.
– Click at an angle
He says the four boys from the national team arrived at the hut around midnight and stayed there for about an hour.
– Several newspapers wrote about the visit you received on Wednesday. Is there anything you haven’t told them yet?
Jaskiret thinks a bit before saying:
– They were dropped off by a driver, then I think they were picked up by the same person. They also brought “takeout” food for two other people. I guess it was for two teammates, said Jaskiret.
– Dream night
He says the visit was very pleasant, and all the players let the staff take pictures with them. He was surprised at the politeness of football stars.
– My youngest son plays football and I was able to be present and meet him. For a 17-year-old, it’s great to meet the boys, especially Haaland. It was a real dream night.
Jaskiret also says that a video was made on the spot, where a nice message was sent to friends.
