Bianca Andreescu has completed her performance in the WTA 250 tournament in Bad Homburg. The 2019 US Open Canadian champion lost to Spain’s Rebecca Masarova. Lyudmila Samsonowa had a hard time with Linda Noskova.
On the third day of competition in Bad Homburg, four quarter-finalists were selected. There is no Bianca Andreescu (WTA 51) in this group. Lyudmila Samsonova (WTA 15) defeated Linda Noskova (WTA 45) 6-4, 6-7(4), 6-3. The meeting lasted two hours and 37 minutes. The former Italian representative served 16 aces. She gave up three assists and converted five of her 11 chances for a break.

Varvara Graczewa (WTA 43) won 6:2, 7:5 with Sara Errani (WTA 80). In the second set, the representative of France came back 0:2. She had five breaks in 93 minutes.
On Wednesday, Iga Świątek will fight for the quarter-finals. The match between the Pole and the Swiss Jil Teichmann will start at 4:30 p.m. at the earliest.
