A 3-2 victory in the deciding match against Italy saw Brazil qualify for the Paris Olympics. The Canadian team also dotted the i’s.

The fight for tickets to Paris was exciting and full of suspense. Ultimately, the presenters did not disappoint the audience in Rio de Janeiro. Although they didn’t avoid mistakes early on in the tournament, a 3-2 victory over Italy saw them qualify for the Olympics. Brazil was losing 1-2, but managed to reverse the result and secure the victory with a point at 15-11 in the tiebreak.

The showdown between Japan and the United States was a match between teams that needed six rounds to advance. With calm heads, the volleyball players still created an exciting spectacle. At the end of the representative season, the Americans won 3–2, although after three sets Japan was closer to success.

Canada has dotted the i’s when it comes to qualifying for the Paris Olympic Games. She participated in next year’s tournament in a group that also included Poland. In the last match, the North American team overcame their position as favorites and won 3-0. Canada controlled events on the court against a team that hadn’t even won a set in the tournament.
