Haaland flight: – No idea

On the eve of the season, he also received a visit from Norway’s biggest cross-country skiing star, Johannes Høsflot Klæbo. Who came to Spain to visit his girlfriend Pernille Døsvik, former distance runner Niklas Dyrhaug and his girlfriend Frida Martinsen.

Both Klæbo and Sørloth shared photos on social media from the trip, which Sørloth said was long planned.

– They are good friends. I have known Niklas for many years, our girlfriends have known each other for many years. It was very nice to ride them down. San Sebastián is a fantastic city, so it was nice to show the city, says Sørloth.

The cross-country stars also got to see Trønder’s teammate during a match at Anoeta.

– It was fun showing them that side too, but it’s what’s on the outside that you remember best. We ate a lot, snuggled up and explored the city, reveals the striker.

He is set to start in a top three with fellow star Erling Braut Haaland in the EC qualifier against Scotland on Saturday.

A Haaland who last weekend helped win the Champions League against Inter with Manchester City, securing the triple triumph. Subsequently, the celebration over several days was frequently mentioned.

– It’s not something I’m so into. It’s good to invite him to a meeting, then everything goes back to normal, smiles Sørloth about the hysteria.

The physically strong striker is set for a tough encounter with the Scottish side, who have enjoyed a perfect start to qualifying with two straight wins.

– Scotland are a very physical team. I guess the duels in the game will be very important. There will be a lot of one-on-one tackles and duels, so we have to focus on keeping our game running smoothly, Sørloth concludes.
