Believes that the need for stable framework conditions, dissemination and information is increasing.
– Having the opportunity to work in policy, communication and sustainability in one of Norway’s most exciting and forward-looking start-ups is a very exciting challenge. I look forward to putting Hydrovolt’s solutions on the map, Amanda Gran said in a press release.
She has now secured the position of Head of Communications and Government Contacts at Hydrovolt.
This has never been done in Norway before
Hydrovolt was founded in 2020 by Norwegian industrial giant Hydro and Swedish battery manufacturer Northvolt. The company develops processes and technologies that increase the proportion of materials recovered when recycling electric cars.
With ambitious expansion plans in Europe and North America, the need for stable framework conditions, communication and information increases.
Gran most recently comes from the position of senior adviser at sustainability agency Sustainability As, a sister company to public relations and communications agency First House As.
She has worked with several companies in the renewable energy field over the past few years.
Gran has a background in political science and international relations from the University of British Columbia, Vancouver, Canada. She will take up her new duties on May 2, 2023.
– We are proud to have Amanda join us on the exciting journey ahead. With highly relevant experience and a passionate commitment to sustainability, she is a key contributor in achieving Hydrovolt’s ambitious goals for the future, says Andreas Frydensvang, CCO of Hydrovolt in the press release.
