Anna Potrzuska became world under-23 champion in rowing. After two silver medals at the European Youth Championships (2021, 2022), rower AZS AWFiS became the youth world champion in the coxless quad. In Bulgarian, Plovdiv sank in the sediments of: Martyna Jankowska ((AZS AWF Gorzow Wielkopolski), Weronika Ludwiczak (KTW Kalisz) and Barbara Jechorek (Posts).

On July 23, in Sunday’s final, the Poles led from start to finish, although they came under heavy pressure from their rivals at the finish. Our rowers swam even faster than 3 days before. They won in 6:33.99, 0.4 seconds ahead of Chile and nearly 2 seconds ahead of Australia. The following places were occupied by: Great Britain, Canada and Germany.

However, there is no time to celebrate the success of AZS competitor AWFiS. At the turn of July and August, it will begin the 31st Summer Universiade in Chengdu, China. The composition of the Plovdiv champion crew will change by 50%.
