In August 2018, Basefarm became acquired by the French telecommunications company Orange for NOK 3.3 billion.

Since the acquisition, Basefarm’s growth within public and private cloud services has accelerated, particularly in the Nordics, the company writes in a press release.

The company’s delivery model spans the full spectrum, from innovation and business development through project phase to ongoing production. The range of services includes consulting, big data, AI, information security and colocation.

The services are provided with the support of Orange’s existing global network with associated infrastructure and cybersecurity, they write.

The company also writes that it is focused on the needs of enterprise customers and offers help in transforming their platforms and moving their core applications to hybrid and multi-cloud computing environments.
