The Serbian national team, coached by Svetislav Pesić, faced the Lithuanians in the quarterfinals of this year’s World Cup. Most experts expected this pair to be tight. That’s what happened, but… only in the first trimester. It ended with Lithuania narrowly leading by 25:24. Later in the match, the Serbs took control of events on the field and eventually won 87:68. The top scorer of the match was Bogdan Bogdanović, who recorded 21 points next to his name.
