The Poles have won seven of the last head-to-head encounters with Canada. The last time the two teams faced each other was in early June in the Nations League. Our ladies won 3-1 and we wouldn’t mind if they repeated that result on Friday. Then, before the final pool game with the Germans, they would be almost certain of a move into the top eight of the World Cup.
