The Polish national volleyball team defeated Canada after a tie-break in the third match of the qualifying tournament for the 2024 Olympic Games in Paris. Check what the table for the “Polish” group currently looks like.

The qualifying tournament for the 2024 Olympic Games in Paris for the Polish national team began with a very difficult battle against Belgium. Our volleyball players needed five sets to achieve the final victory.

However, the next meeting turned out to be completely different. It is true that the Bulgarian national team scared the Whites and the Reds, especially in the first, but in the end they did not manage to break any set.

So, before the third match of group C, our volleyball players won a complete series of victories. Just like the Canadian team which beat the Netherlands (3:2) and Argentina (3:1). And it was this rival that Nikola Grbic’s players had to face.

This duel was very fierce. The first edition was won by Canadians, while the next two editions were won by Poles. However, in the fourth set, the North American volleyball players woke up and led to the tie-break. However, White and Red were better in this regard.

Thus, despite another loss of points, the Poles remain undefeated, thanks to which they take first place in Group C of the qualifying tournament for the 2024 Olympic Games in Paris. They currently have seven points, just like the Belgians, whom they beat in the opening match.
