Anne Helene Lileng stood in the hair salon and saw it all.
Suddenly, a grown man approached one of the large flowerpots in the center of Sarpsborg and took the Easter decorations with him.
– A well-bred man did it. He cut down the feathered tree in the pedestrian street, and took it with him, Lileng told Dagbladet.
She reacts strongly to stealing and thinks it’s sad that someone gets to destroy others in this way.
Easter: it will be the winner of the weather
– I thought it was April Fools
The incident happened on April 1, and Lileng thought for a moment that it was all just an April Fool’s joke – but at the time it wasn’t.
– I wish I could say it was an April Fool’s joke, but unfortunately. Here, smart people are trying to decorate for Easter around town, but it was only left for two days. In broad daylight, a grown man stops and picks up the decoration and takes it with him, Lileng wrote in a Facebook post.
– This is the reason why everything you want to decorate should be brought every night. It’s so sad, she continues.
– Amazing
Lileng owns a hair salon in Sarpsborg pedestrian street and was shocked to say the least when she saw the theft. But she has seen similar ones before.
She says Sarpsborg Arbeiderbladwho mentioned the question first, that they bring flower pots and other decorations into the living room at closing time.
– We pick flowers and take care of them. It’s amazing what people take with them, she told the local newspaper.
