This summer, former TV 2 presenter Eli Strand (53) is making his comeback, writes M24.
Strand has a summer job at NRK, where she will be a radio news presenter.
In the terminal phase of cancer: – I will live
Strand, who for many is probably best known from Good Morning Norway, was already a summer substitute at NRK almost 30 years ago – also at the time at Dagsnytt.
She speaks to M24 about her new job.
– It’s more demanding today because there are so many channels that you have to follow and you have to monitor everything that’s happening. But it’s a lot of fun to choose which news to choose and in what order we will present them, Strand explains to the online newspaper.
I had breast cancer
The former TV 2 star has been battling cervical cancer for several years, and as late as May, Strand was able to announce that she had been diagnosed with breast cancer.
Strand had surgery in June and is now in place at Marienlyst.
– During all these years I was sick, work was my free time. I’m not talking about sickness at work. None of the people I interview should know that either. Illness has no place. It takes up enough space in my life, she honestly confides to M24.
