Exact Systems Norwid Częstochowa announced the signing of a contract with another student who, after being promoted to PlusLiga, strengthened the team. It’s midfielder Peter Hain.
In recent days, Exact Systems Norwid Częstochowa announced the names of eight players who will represent the team in the first season in the first division. These were mainly players who played for the club last season and won promotion.
Another new player who signed a contract with the newly promoted PlusLiga is Piotr Hain, who recently played for GKS Katowice. He is a pupil of Norwid, where he played as a junior.
Hain has been playing in the Plusliga continuously since 2010. He built his sports career at Indykpol AZS Olsztyn, Jastrzębski Węgiel, Cuprum Lubin and Asseco Resovia Rzeszów.
– Norwid is a club very close to my heart. I spent all my junior days near Jasna Góra and have fond memories of that time. I am happy that as a local boy, brought up by the successes of “Częstochowa volleyball”, I will now have the opportunity to represent the Jasna Góra team colors myself. Norwid is a club that is growing year by year, progressing, the best proof of which is the promotion to Plusliga. I’m happy to be a part of it,” Hain said.
The Norwid team includes quarterbacks Byron Keturakis (Canada) and Tomasz Kowalski, forwards Mateusz Borkowski and Rafał Sobański, middlemen Bartłomiej Janus and Bartosz Schmidt, libero Sho Takahashi (Japan) and receivers Damian Kogut, Krzysztof Gibek and Oskar Espeland (Norway).
