Five youngsters have disappeared after a night out on the town in Wales

Families and friends of five youngsters in Wales are desperate for answers after loved ones haven’t heard from them for a night on the town.

Sophie Russon, Eve Smith and Darcy Ross, all 20, reportedly went to a bar in the port city of Newport on Friday night. In the evening, according to friends, the girls should have gone to a nightclub in Porthcawl, about a 40-minute drive from Newport. They would have gone there with Shane Loughlin and Rafael Jeanne-Actie, who according to their families are also missing.

According to relatives of the girls, no one has heard from them since around 2 a.m. Saturday. None of them have been active on social media. According to Eve Smith’s sister, Lauren Doyle, her sister’s car is still at the Newport nightclub.

– None of them contacted friends or family, which is very unusual. We are all very worried and fearing the worst, Doyle said.

In a social media update, she also writes that her sister’s purse, which contains both car keys and bank cards, is with her mother.

The age of the boys does not appear in the article, but according to their families, they too have been reported missing.

Everyone’s family members shared photos on social media, hoping someone saw them.
