Canadian Whistler’s Jan Habdas will fight for the title at the World Junior Championships. Adam Bucholz, a journalist for skijumping.pl, provided great information for jumping fans. The medal competition can be watched online.
For Jan Habdas, the next few days will be very important. The Pole is currently in Canada, where he is preparing for the Junior World Championships with the Polish national team. Habdas is among the favorites to win this competition. His entire current season has been spent fighting for a junior medal.
The 19-year-old scored his first World Cup points in ski jumping and now dreams of making history on the podium at the junior championships. The task will not be easy.

The retransmission of the junior competition will be available on the Internet and free of charge. The junior competition will be broadcast on the FIS Ski Jumping YouTube channel.

Besides Habdas, the squad for the World Championships included Marcin Wróbel, Klemens Joniak, Wiktor Szozda, Kacper Tomasik, Pola Bełtowska, Natalia Słowik, Sara Tajner and Wiktoria Przybyła.
A year ago, Habdas took thirteenth place at the World Championships in Zakopane. In turn, in 2021 he could not start due to the detection of a coronavirus infection in him.
During the World Championships, there will be individual and team competitions for men and women, as well as mixed doubles. Habdas will fight for the medal on February 2, and the show is scheduled to start at 11:50 p.m. Polish time. The women’s team competition and mixed doubles will also be featured.
