The American is the daughter of legendary Czechoslovakian tennis player Hana Mandlikova. On Thursday, she beat Canadian Rebecca Marino 7:5, 3:6, 6:1 and repeated the Nottingham result. Lin Zhu will now block his path.
Arianne Hartono was the one who spent the least time on the pitch on Thursday. The Dutch beat Hungarian Panna Udvardy 6:2, 6:0 in just an hour. In Friday’s quarterfinals, she will face the only remaining singles player among the hosts, Mai Hontama.
