This Space Christmas, you must perform a canal slalom to bring Hoppuka home.
The 71st Hoppuka begins on December 29 with the opening race in Oberstdorf and ends on Friday January 6 in Bischofshofen.
Here in Norway the TV rights are shared and TV 3 and TV 2 broadcast Hoppuka.
It has taken place since 1953 in Germany and Austria.
The record holder in the jumping week is Janne Ahonen. The Finn won a total of five times between 1998/99 and 2007/08. Jens Weissflog has four victories in the general classification.
Arne Scheie – who has covered 42 consecutive weeks of jumping for NRK – believes that Marius Lindvik and Halvor Egner Granerud are among the group of favorites this year.
