Volleyball players from SSC Palmberg Schwerin won the German Cup at the end of February. Now the club authorities have made an important decision regarding the next season. Five players with officially extended contracts will remain in the squad.
SSC Palmberg Schwerin won the German Cup for the eighth time in history, beating SC Potsdam 3-1 in the final. The good attitude of the players meant that the activists did not hesitate to extend the contracts. Already four rounds before the end of the main phase, the club has officially announced the names of five volleyball players who will play Schwerin in the next matches.

Schwerin’s squad will still include: center Indy Baijens (Netherlands) and Jazmine White (Canada), forward Tutku Burcu Yuzgenc (Turkey), receiver Annegret Hölzig and point guard Pia Kästner.
“She is definitely one of our best players. Pia has adapted incredibly well and I think we have a very good way of working together. He enriches our game with his ingenuity and aggression,” said coach Felix Koslowski on Kästner, the playmaker was named MVP of the German Cup final.
