Knut Arild Hareide has become Minister of Transport, but does not yet have a political advisor.

To build bridges, especially over fjords, Knut Arild Hareide has been appointed Minister of Transport. But it is not yet known who his political advisor will be.

Erna Solberg presented her new government today at Slottsplassen. Among the most controversial ministerial elections was that of Knut Arild Hareide. It is only a year since he tried to oust Erna Solberg as Prime Minister by trying to convince KrF to seek cooperation with the Labour Party.

On regjeringen.no A list of changes among the government’s political advisors has also been published. The government’s list includes 20 political advisors, divided among 18 ministers, including the prime minister. But the name of Knut Arild Hareide – and who his advisor will be – does not appear. Minerva has been informed that the decision on who that will be has not yet been made.

When Hareide was head of the KrF, his political advisor was Emil André Erstad. Erstad published the book last year The Fall of Hareidewhere he accuses the current party leadership of having weakened Hareide during the conflict in the KrF last year.
