Like every Monday, the WTA and ATP have published the latest rankings. Iga Świątek and Magda Linette as well as Hubert Hurkacz have not changed their positions compared to last week’s lists.
This week, the best tennis players in the world will face off in Indian Wells. As has been the case for most of the past year, Iga Swiatek will join the fight on the American courts as “one” of the world.
With no change in the WTA rankings, Świątek is still an undisputed leader
The undisputed leader of the WTA rankings is still Iga Świątek, who lost the final of the Dubai tournament (against Barbora Krejcikova) and is fighting to defend her title in Indian Wells. The Pole currently has 10,585 points, up to 4,485 more than the second in the standings Aryna Sabalenka. Close the first three Jessica Pegula (5,495 points).
There were no major changes at the top of the rankings, also in the case of Magda Linette, who is still ranked 21st (1,770 points). She recorded the biggest jump among the best tennis players Donna Vekic – after winning the Monterrey tournament (triumph in the final over Caroline Garcia), the Croatian went from 31st to 23rd position.
As with other Polish tennis players, Madeleine Frech lost a place to 106th place, Catherine Cafe up two positions to 235th place, a Maja Chwalińska nine places at 238th.
