More Apple workshops in Norway – Lyd & Bilde

Apple is expanding its independent repairer program so more people can access repair services. The program allows businesses of all sizes to offer iPhone repairs using genuine Apple replacement parts.

Following the program’s launch in the United States last fall, more than 140 independent repair companies have joined more than 700 new branches in the United States, where customers can turn, and businesses in Europe and Canada can now also join the program.

In practice, this means it will be much easier for consumers to have a broken iPhone battery or screen replaced by an authorized repair shop, meaning the warranty still applies.

We are excited to be able to expand our independent repair program to more locations in the United States and businesses across Europe and Canada. says Jeff Williams, Apple’s chief operating officer, in an Apple press release.

He keeps on:

“When a customer needs a repair, we need to be able to offer different options that not only meet their needs, but are also a guarantee of safety and quality, so that their iPhone can be used for as long as possible.”

The independent repairer program is open to businesses in Europe and Canada.

After a successful launch in the United States, independent repair shops in 32 countries in Europe and Canada can now apply to participate in Apple’s independent repair program. There are no additional costs and training is free for new businesses.

All workshops in the program have access to free training from Apple and the same original replacement parts, tools, repair manuals and diagnostic capabilities as Apple Authorized Service Providers (AASPs) and Apple Stores.
