Dancers Tessa Virtue and Scott Moir scored a full streak for Team Maple Leaf and athletic pair Meagan Duhamel and Eric Radford. In the soloist short program, Canadian Kaetlyn Osmond took third place, and the winner was 18-year-old Yevgenia Medvedev from the Russian Olympic team, achieving the highest score in the history of the discipline – 81, 06 dots.
Ten teams consisting of two pairs and a soloist and a soloist participated in the team competition, contested at the Olympics for the second time. After the last of the short programs (soloists), there are five groups left on the field.
The medals will be distributed on Monday after the programs of the potential soloists, soloists and pairs of dancers.
