Tessa Virtue and Scott Moir danced and Meagan Duhamel and Eric Radford scored all the points for the Maple Leaf team. In the solo short program, Canadian Kaetlyn Osmond took third place, and 18-year-old Evgenia Medvedeva from the Russian Olympic team won, receiving the highest score in the history of the discipline – 81.06 points .
Ten teams consisting of two duets and one soloist and one male soloist took part in the team competition, held for the second time at the Olympics. After the last short program (soloists), there were five groups remaining.
The medals will be distributed on Monday after the programs of any soloists and dance duets.
