The Paris Olympics volleyball tournament runs from July 27 to August 10. It features a total of twelve teams, divided into three groups of four teams each. The top two teams in each group and the two third-placed teams will advance to the quarterfinals.
The Polish national volleyball team is in Group B with Italy, Brazil and Egypt. The Whites and Reds, as vice-world champions and European champions, are considered the favorites to win the most valuable gold medal at this year’s Olympic Games.

The title is defended by the French, who beat Russia 3-2 in the final at the 2021 Olympic Games in Tokyo. Argentina won the bronze medal by beating Brazil in the third-place match after a tie-break.
