The violent storm Otto brings with it strong gusts of wind. This caused major aviation delays and several flights were cancelled.
The storm ravages much of southern Norway. Agder Police responded to a fallen tree in the westbound lane on the E18 near Grimstad. The road was quickly cleared.
No one was injured in the incident, but it caused traffic on the westbound freeway.
On Saturday night, Trøndelag police report very slippery roads in the Trondheim area due to freezing rain.
No major damage or accidents were reported as a result of the storm.
Significant delays in aviation
Three SAS flights from Kristiansand, Trondheim and Haugesund to Oslo on Saturday morning have been cancelled. The same is true for a Norse Atlantic Airways flight which was to go from Oslo to New York on Saturday evening.

Ferries are canceled in western Norway
Several ferries have been canceled in western Norway, writes Vegtrafikksentralen on Twitter. The Mortavika-Arsvågen ferry connection on the E39 was closed for a time, but has reopened. Vegtrafikksentralen asks people to follow the departures.
