Hockey. Abakar Kazbekov is dead

The 18-year-old hockey player was considered one of the most talented players in the Ontario Hockey League. The Moscow-born London Knights representative last hit the rink on Dec. 17 in a game against Owen Sound Attack.

Britain’s Daily Mail was the first to report his death. The reason for this course of events was the fall of a teenager from a very high height. Journalists write that he fell out of his apartment window, but there is no reason to believe that third parties were involved.

London Knight says goodbye to his player

An investigation is currently underway to determine exactly how the circumstances of Abakar Kazbekov’s death unfolded.

“The Ontario Hockey League and the London Knights are saddened to announce the sudden passing of player Abakar Kazbekov. Abakar has been a valued member of the team since 2021. Our hearts go out to his family, friends and teammates. Today’s game in London (Canada – editor’s note) between the London Knights and the Flint Firebirds has been postponed”, can we read.
