The start of the game was very balanced. Despite this, after a while, French volleyball players began to dominate the field. At one point, Polish women were losing by five points.

The situation changed when Olivia Różański entered service. The Polish managed to push the French back from the net with solid serves. Agnieszka Korneluk was equally good on serve. Thanks to this, Biało-Czerwone caught up with their opponents and took the lead. Eventually, Poland won the first set 25:21.
The second part of this meeting also took place according to the accusations of Stefano Lavarini. Although the Poles quickly took the lead, they could not keep it. By the end of the set, the game was in overdrive. It was hard to judge which team would tip the scales of victory in their favor. After a thrilling end, the home team won 30:28.
In the third set, the coach of the Polish national team decided to rest the basic players of the national team. Thanks to this, volleyball players have appeared on the field, who usually do not have so many opportunities to play in a white and red jersey. Joanna Pacak, Monika Fedusio and Magdalena Jurczyk checked in on the dance floor. Polish volleyball players in the third set did not give their rivals a chance – they won the set 25:11.
Note that the coaches of the two teams agreed before the start of the meeting that this friendly match lasts four sets. For this reason, even though the Polish women won three sets, the clash continued. However, the French players failed to change the image of this meeting. Representatives of Poland always dominated the field, thanks to which they won the extra game 25:23.
Recall that the Poles will play their next match on Thursday, May 25, 2023. Biało-Czerwone will again face the French team in a friendly match. Lavarini and his proteges will soon start competing in the Nations League – on Tuesday, May 30, 2023, they will play against Canada.
