Two out of three weeks of Volleyball Nations League qualifying matches are behind us. Currently, Nikola Grbic’s players have six wins and two losses. The winners of the world runners-up so far have turned out to be Serbs and Americans.

The real revelation of the competition are the Japanese who, as surprising as it may seem, won all eight matches, leaving among others the Argentines, Brazilians and French. The good attitude of the volleyball players from the Land of the Rising Sun is also reflected in the individual rankings.

The real stars of the Asian team are Yuki Ishikawa and Ran Takahashi. Both are at the top of the ranking of the best scorers and forwards. It should be noted that the duo scored 279 of the 748 points, or 37.3%. entire accomplishments. At the top of both lists, not surprisingly, is Nimir Abdel Aziz.
