This year’s European Volleyball Championships, won by Turkish women, are behind us. And next year we will have another big event, which will be the World Cup. It’s still unclear who the host will be and what the full cast will be. However, we know that around ten teams are already qualified.
This group includes Turkish women who, as European champions, have secured automatic qualification for next year’s world championships.
The previous World Cup took place last year in Poland. Then Serbia won gold, and as the defending champions, they don’t have to worry about participating in the tournament either.

In addition, all medalists from continental competitions and the tournament host, which is not yet known, are guaranteed promotion to the Women’s Volleyball World Cup. Many clues suggest that it may be an Asian country.
The Italians have also qualified for the world championships, although they did not win a medal at the recent EuroVolley, but took fourth place. This allowed them to get a pass, because on the podium were the Serbs, also world champions.
What about the Polish national team? Unfortunately, our volleyball players have not reached the medal zone, but they have a very real chance of participating in the world championships. Participation is also guaranteed to the highest ranked teams in the FIVB rankings who have not yet qualified. And Stefano Lavarini’s players are in this situation.
A total of 32 teams will participate in the World Cup.

Asia: Thailand, China, Japan,
North America: United States, Canada, Dominican Republic
