They progressed by taking second place at the qualifying tournament in China, which took place in October last year.

However, before the Olympics, the Canadians will participate in the Nations League. During the intercontinental phase, they will face the following teams: United States, Poland, Netherlands, Slovenia, Bulgaria, Turkey, Japan, Brazil, Italy, Argentina, Serbia and Cuba. Thanks to a certain promotion in Paris, coach Sammelvuo’s team will be able to calmly improve its form during the VNL.
Among the eighteen “elected” Canadians was Brodie Hofer, a player from Enea Czarni Radom. In the club’s 2023/24 season, the receiver played 30 matches in which he scored 268 points, including 27 serving and 22 blocking opponents.
