Despite an unusual injury, Felix Auger-Aliassime beat Francisco Cerundolo to advance to the fourth round of the ATP Masters 1000 hardcourt tournament in Indian Wells. Stan Wawrinka dominated Holger Rune, 18 years his junior.

The Swiss veteran could have won faster, but he lost a match point at 5-4 in the second set and then squandered a 5-2 lead in the tie-break.
So, for the first time since November 2020, when he reached the quarter-finals in Paris, Wawrinka has won three matches in a row in the ATP Masters 1000 tournament.
