Volleyball Nations League 2023: Results and highlights from Wednesday’s matches

The Volleyball Nations League has begun! During the first week of VNL 2023, teams compete in two tournaments, held in Canada (Ottawa) and Japan (Nagoya). Poland will face France in their first game. Check out the results of Wednesday’s Nations League matches.

Canada won 3-2 against Cuba and Argentina won 3-0 against Italy in the opening matches of the Volleyball Nations League tournament in Ottawa on Tuesday night.

The Poles will face off in Nagoya, where at 11:00 am they will play with the French Olympic champions.

In Canada and Japan, the first competitions of this year’s edition of the Nations League are being played. The format of the competition remains the same as last year – each of the 16 nations participating in the Nations League will play in three tournaments, each with four matches.

The top seven teams after the main stage, plus Poland as hosts, will play in the final tournament, to be held in Gdansk (July 19-23). The French defend the title.
