It’s the penultimate day of the first week of the Men’s Volleyball Nations League. On Saturday morning Polish time, in what promised to be an interesting match, the Argentina national team won against Canada 3-1 in Ottawa. The meeting of the main European teams ended with the same result. The Slovenes defeated the French.

During the first week of VNL 2023, teams compete in two tournaments, hosted in Canada (Ottawa) and Japan (Nagoya).

The format of the competition remains the same as last year: each of the 16 teams participating in the Nations League will play three tournaments, each consisting of four matches.

The top seven teams from the regular phase, as well as Poland as host country, regardless of the results obtained, will participate in the final phase, which will take place in Gdańsk (July 19-23). The French defend the title.
