In the first week of the Volleyball Nations League, the Poles played in Antalya, Turkey. They won three games there – 3-0 against the USA, 3-1 against Canada, 3-0 against the Netherlands and suffered one defeat – 0-3 against Slovenia. The Polish volleyball players spent the second week in Fukuoka, Japan. In the first match, they won against Bulgaria 3-1 and in the following matches, they confidently beat Turkey 3-0 and Japan 3-0. In the end, they lost 1:3 to the Brazilian national team. After two tournaments, Poland is third in the standings, with a record of 6-2 and 18 points scored. They are behind the teams of Italy and Slovenia, who have won seven matches each.

In the third week of the VNL 2024, the volleyball players will play in the Slovenian capital – Ljubljana and in Manila in the Philippines. The Poles will compete in Europe and will face Italy (Wednesday, June 19), Argentina (Friday, June 21), Serbia (Saturday, June 22) and Cuba (Sunday, June 23).
group 5 (Ljubljana, Slovenia): Poland, Italy, Slovenia, Argentina, Turkey, Serbia, Cuba, Bulgaria.
group 6 (Manila, Philippines): United States, Japan, France, Canada, Iran, Netherlands, Germany, Brazil.
The intercontinental phase competition will take place from 21 May to 23 June, during which time each of the sixteen teams will participate in three tournaments, in which they will play twelve matches. There will be six tournaments with a total of 96 matches played. The final phase will be held from 27 to 30 June in Łódź. The seven leading teams of the intercontinental phase will play there, with Poland as the host.
The Volleyball Nations League was first held in 2018, replacing the World League held from 1990 to 2017. The previous edition was won by the Polish national team, who beat the United States in the final in Gdańsk.
