The Polish team have already played eight of the twelve matches in the main stage of VNL 2022. They started the competition at the tournament in Ottawa (June 7-12), where they won three times in four matches – 3:0 with Argentina, 3: 0 with Bulgaria, 3: 1 against France and suffered a defeat – 1: 3 against Italy. In the second round, they faced each other in Sofia (21-26 June), where they won all their matches – 3-1 with Brazil, 3-0 with Canada, 3-0 with Australia and 3-1 with the United States.
Coach Nikola Grbic’s proteges have an excellent record (7 wins – 1 loss, 21 points). They occupy second place in the table, behind the representation of France, which displays a similar record. The Poles are almost certain of their performance in the final tournament, which will be played from July 20 to 24 in Bologna.
During the third week of the Volleyball Nations League (July 5-10), two tournaments will be played, each with eight national teams.
Gdansk (Poland): Bulgaria, China, Netherlands, Iran, Poland, Serbia, Slovenia, Italy.
Osaka (Japan): Argentina, Australia, Brazil, France, Japan, Canada, Germany, USA.
Polish volleyball players will complete the competition in the main stage in Gdańsk. At the Ergo Arena, they will face Iran (July 5), China (July 7), the Netherlands (July 9) and Slovenia (July 10).
