What awaits volleyball players in 2024? Poland national team schedule

in 2024, the Polish volleyball team will face another important international match. In the coming campaign for the whites and reds, the results in three starts will be the most important. The priority is the European Championships, the Olympic qualifiers and the Nations League, the finals of which will be played at the Ergo Arena in Gdańsk.

Nations League 2023. When and where does it start for the VNL?

The first major event in which the Polish national team will participate is the Nations League. The group stage of this tournament will be divided into three rounds. Nikola Grbic players will start competing in VNL 2023 on June 7 in Nagoya, Japan. There, the Whites and Reds will face France, Iran, Bulgaria and Serbia.

Then our volleyball players will travel to the Netherlands in Rotterdam (June 20-25), where they will play against Germany, the Netherlands, the United States and Italy. At the end of the group stage for the Grbic players, a trip to the Philippines awaits them (July 4-9). There, matches against Slovenia, Brazil, Canada and Japan await them. The final tournament will be played at the Ergo Arena. It will take place from July 19 to 23, 2023.

European Championship 2023. The Poles are in Group C

The next big representative tournament for the Poles in 2024 will be the European Championships. They will be played in Italy, Israel, Bulgaria and North Macedonia. The tournament’s Poles have been placed in Group C. Nikola Grbic’s players will start with North Macedonia, Montenegro, the Netherlands, Denmark and the Czech Republic for triumph in the Old Continent Championship.

In such a group, the Poles are the favorites to advance and fight in the knockout stage. Four teams from each group will qualify for the 1/8 finals of EURO 2023. Remember that the whites and reds are the bronze medalists of the last two European championships. They can win the next album in a few days August 28 – September 16.

Olympic qualifications. Whites and reds await the draw

The third most important start in 2024 is undoubtedly Olympic qualification. The fight to go to France will not be easy, however. Only 12 teams will participate in the 2024 Olympics in Paris. So there are only 11 places to win, because the hosts have qualifications provided by the machine.

As for white and red, at the moment we already know that the qualifying tournament with the participation of the Poles will take place between September 30 and October 8, 2023. However, all the rivals in the fight for the Olympics will not be known until March 17. The draw will take place in Lausanne at 13. Thanks to the FIVB ranking, in which our national team is ranked first, we will be able to avoid two very difficult rivals, namely the Italians and the Americans.
