In Saturday’s first game, the Serbs made a real “renovation”, turning the tide of the match against Thailand. Giovanni Guidetti’s men were already down 0-2, but they were able to get back into the game and settle it in their favour.

The rivalry between the Dominican Republic and Canada was not much less exciting. The two teams exchanged blows which ended in a tie-break. In it, the Dominicans kept more composure, thanks to which they recorded the third victory of the current edition of VNL.
