Ranheim – Skeid 0-4 (0-0)
Ranheim went wild at home against Skeid on Saturday. Trønder, who were leading the OBOS league, lost 0-4 against the Oslo team. It was Ranheim’s first loss of the season.
With three points for the visiting team, Skeid moved up to eleventh place in the championship.
– They are punishing us severely. We must learn from it and always have something to develop. Today we also received responses. There’s a new match on Wednesday, so there’s nothing to dwell on, Kåre Ingebrigtsen tells TV 2 after the setback.
It was long without a goal between Ranheim and Skeid. The visiting team had the biggest chances in the first half, but it was only after the break that the team broke the deadlock.
After 59 minutes, Per Magnus Steiring pushed the ball towards Johnny Per Buduson. The striker snuck in behind a sleeping Christian Eggen Rismark and sent Skeid in the lead.
Barely four minutes later, the visiting team doubled the lead, after Kristoffer Hoven’s free arrival from 25 meters. Shortly after, Hoven scored his second of the night and increased the lead to 3-0.
Ranheim and Arne Gunnes put the ball in the net after 74 minutes but Mads Reginiussen signaled for offside and the goal was disallowed.
But Skeid wasn’t done all day. Hoven had a hat trick when he made it 4-0 just before full time.
– 0-4 at home and the way they concede the fourth goal… they just stand and watch. That won’t be enough, TV 2 football expert Erik Thorstvedt told Fotballstudio after the game.
Despite the loss, Ranheim still retains the top of the table until further notice. Sogndal could go ahead, but missed 2-0 to 2-2 and a draw against Bryne. They are currently in second place with eight points.
Ranheim will travel to Ulsteinvik and Hødd in the next championship round. Skeid receives Moss.
