In recent years, two things have led Oasis brothers Noel and Liam Gallagher to pop into the public eye.
They either threw bullshit at each other on social media, creating the usual UK media headlines.
Or the television cameras caught them in the stands, where they celebrated Manchester City’s scores. To each his own, of course, since they are not on good terms.
Erling Braut Haaland can indirectly do something about the latter.
– If Man City win the Champions League, I’ll call my brother and get this fucking bunch together, Liam Gallagher wrote on Twitter.
Haaland has broken records all season and will likely try to bring down Italian Inter regardless of Oasis.
– Maybe they need a Norwegian peace mediator, Haaland previously said Viaplay.

Oasis was a massive band in the 1990s, thanks in particular to the records “Definitely Maybe” and “(What’s The Story) Morning Glory”.
Record sales, top spots and awards failed to quell the conflict between the brothers, however, which in 2009 led to Noel’s resignation from the band – just hours before a gig at France’s Rock en Seine festival.
– It is with a certain sadness and a great relief that I left Oasis this evening. People can write and say whatever they want, but I couldn’t work with Liam one more day, he said.
Since then, they no longer speak to each other.
Noel has said in several interviews that he might be open to a reunion, but the ball is in Liam’s court.
– I challenge him. If you’re watching now, I dare you to call me. Call me instead of just tweeting,” added Noel Seattle 98.9 KPWN.

A few pinches of salt
While many will likely take Liam Gallagher’s statement with a grain of salt, it’s amusing that the claim comes just weeks after it was announced that their former 90s Britpop rivals Blur are releasing a new album this summer, their first in eight years.
When Liam and Noel weren’t arguing, the shots were aimed at the Blur guys.
But Manchester City must first win the Champions League final against Italian Inter. After that, we get a response on whether Liam’s promises are final or just maybe.
