Before the start of the Grand Slam US Open, the most anticipated final was the clash between Novak Djokovic and Carlos Alcaraz. Will this become a reality? We will find out overnight from Friday to Saturday.

Both men’s singles semi-finals will take place at the US Open’s main arena, Arthur Ashe Stadium. Novak Djokovic and Ben Shelton will start the match no earlier than 9:00 p.m. The titled Serbian will face the American for the first time. He intends to awaken his unseeded opponent from the beautiful dream of being among the four best tennis players at the US Open.

Novak Djokovic will be the favorite of the match. The Serbian is fighting for his third Grand Slam victory of the season, and he returned to New York after an absence last year for non-vaccination against the coronavirus. A possible defeat for Ben Shelton will allow him to reach the 10th US Open final of his career.

The second semi-final will start at 1:00 a.m. Polish time. The first and third ranked tennis players will compete against each other. Defending champion Carlos Alcaraz will face Daniil Medvedev. In previous encounters, the Spaniard faced a Moscow-born player. Daniil Medvedev will try to take revenge, among other things, for his failure at Wimbledon this year.
