Culture and entertainment: The first concert will take place on September 2 in Philadelphia in the USA, and the tour will end in Montreal in Canada on January 26. On New Year’s Eve, the band will travel to their hometown of Boston to perform a concert.

– I think it’s time, says guitarist Joe Perry.

He and the other band members – vocalist Steven Tyler, bassist Tom Hamilton, drummer Joey Cramer and guitarist Brad Witford – are all in their 60s.

– In a way, it will be a celebration of 50 years that we have been there. You never know how long we can go on, says Perry, who adds that the group is a bit nervous about how it will turn out.

Formed in Boston in 1971, Aerosmith is one of America’s largest and most influential rock bands. They have sold 66.5 million albums in the United States and have received platinum awards for their albums twelve times.
