About Women’s WC Curling
A year ago, the Norwegians won the first Norwegian medal at the championships since 2005. Norway then joined the Norwegian team with Martine Rønning. Mille Haslev Nordbye, Marianne Rørvik and Kristin Skaslien reached the final against the big Swiss favorites.
There was a defeat after a balanced final against strong Switzerland. The question now is whether the Norwegians, who usually represent Lillehammer, can repeat the success.
Regardless, a full-fledged Norwegian team is in place in Sydney, Nova Scotia, on Canada’s east coast, where there is now only a four-hour time difference from Norway – since It’s not until next weekend that the clocks are changed here at home.
This time they also have Ingeborg Forbregd from Oppdal with them as a fifth player and reserve in the team.
