The Canadian Agricultural Show will be held in Regina for the 47th year

The Canadian Agricultural Show is ready to spend another year in the Queen City. The show presents the latest agricultural technologies.

A press conference was held Thursday morning to outline all plans for the 47th Annual Agricultural Show.

Farmers and exhibitors will converge in Regina June 18-20. All kinds of agriculture-related products and equipment will be on display at the REAL District.

Degelman Industries will unveil a new line of tillage equipment called “The Heavy Duty Staggered Ripper.” The Canadian Agricultural Show began at a fair held in Regina in 1884. The show continued to attract thousands of people over the decades.

“Historically, it’s averaged between 16,000 and 17,000,” said Roberta Engel, REAL’s interim president and CEO. “That’s why I wanted to make sure I received an extended invitation to all our farmers. We want them to come, we want them to see our show, see what we can offer.

“We are the pillar of innovation, and this is where you can learn about new opportunities and what Ag Tech is doing in the agricultural sector.”

More than 100 international delegates are expected from around the world.

Education is an important part of the Canadian farm, which is why all students will receive free admission on June 20.
