“Okay, don’t panic. It’s actually one of my favorite dishes”writes the food blogger and author in The Facebook post which was liked by 11,000 subscribers and shared 400 times.
Mulvihill says the breakfast in the photo is a “simple but tasty meal” that she never gets tired of.

In the comments section, however, opinions are divided on what Mulvihill serves.
Several people write that their chin dropped when they first saw the photo.
– I was going to call the police. I seriously thought you were eating a raw egg with melted cheese, one follower wrote.

Several hundred people have asked each other what they think is on the slice of bread.
Most people think of raw egg yolks, but some also suggest an English candy called “Pop-it.”
After much speculation from Mulvihill’s followers, she finally revealed that it was cherry tomatoes on a bed of pesto mayonnaise, topped with a slice of melted cheese.
– No!? In fact, it really messed up my vision, writes one follower who likens the image to optical illusions.
– Wow, I didn’t think so. But it sounds good, writes another.
