Twelve teams will participate in the volleyball tournament of the Paris 2024 Games. France is guaranteed to participate as host, so there are eleven places remaining. The twenty-four highest ranked teams in the FIVB rankings compete in three qualifying tournaments which will take place in Rio de Janeiro (Brazil), Tokyo (Japan) and Xi’an (China).

The qualifying tournaments are played from September 30 to October 8. The top two teams in each event will win Olympic passports. After the qualifying tournaments, there will be five places remaining, which will be allocated based on the FIVB ranking.
