On July 12 (Wednesday), the Polish women’s volleyball team will face an important duel. On that day, Biało-Czerwone will play the quarter-finals of the Nations League with the Germans. Live broadcast on Pilot WP.

The Polish women’s volleyball team performed very well in the main stage of the Nations League. Biało-Czerwone ended this struggle in first place and won promotion. How did they perform in each tournament?

The players led by Stefano Lavarini finished the Nations League first round in Antalya with a full winning streak. Teams such as Canada (3:2), Italy (3:1), as well as Thailand (3:1) and Serbia (3:0) were beaten in succession. The latest win was particularly impressive, as Serbian volleyball players are the reigning world champions.

After the tournament in Turkey, the Polish national team moved to Hong Kong. There, Biało-Czerwone won three out of four matches. The Poles won the Dominican Republic 3:1, Turkey 3:0 and China 3:0. Quite unexpectedly, the representation of the Netherlands was beaten. This match ended with the score of 0:3.

At the end of the intercontinental phase, Stefano Lavarini’s players played in Korean Suwon. In the first meeting, they engaged in a fierce confrontation with the United States. Then they lost 2-3. After the tie-break, they beat the German team. Later, Biało-Czerwone also beat Bulgaria (3:1) and the tournament hosts (3:0).

The Polish national team was doing so well that after the main stage they took first place and qualified for the next competition. Biało-Czerwone was among the first eight, who will play in July in the final Nations League tournament in American Arlington.

The competition will be held according to the cup system. In the quarter-finals, Biało-Czerwone will face the eighth team from the main stage. This place was taken by the German team.

On June 29, during the Korean duel in Suwon, there was absolutely no shortage of emotions.

The meeting was very close. In the end, the Whites and Reds were able to savor the triumph. However, they won only after the tie-break, in which we had a score of 17:15. The German volleyball players will surely be at the top of their game to avenge the White-Reds for the defeat.

And what do the Women’s Nations League quarter-finals look like? In addition to the Poland – Germany duel, clashes of teams such as Brazil – China, as well as USA – Japan and Turkey – Italy are also expected. All duels should guarantee a lot of excitement.
